What is the lifestyle scene like in Florida?
Florida has one of the largest lifestyle communities in the US, concentrated in three regions: South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach), Tampa Bay (Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater), and Central Florida (Orlando, Kissimmee). Expect on-premise clubs, hotel takeovers, resort weekends, and a year-round calendar. JoinTheSwing launches in Florida first.
Florida's lifestyle community is among the largest, most visible, and longest-running in the country. Three distinct regions anchor the scene. South Florida — Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach — is the largest cluster, with well-known on-premise clubs, regular hotel takeovers, and a scene shaped by the region's international, Latin-influenced culture. Miami alone has multiple long-running venues with decades of operation.
Tampa Bay — Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater — is the second major hub. The region has a high concentration of lifestyle clubs relative to its population, an active house-party scene, and resorts like Secrets Hideaway in Kissimmee that draw from both the Tampa and Orlando metros. The Gulf Coast scene tends to be slightly more relaxed and community-driven than the more glamorous South Florida market.
Central Florida around Orlando is driven partly by tourism — the sheer volume of visitors creates a constant churn of newcomers at clubs and events — and partly by proximity to the major lifestyle resorts in the Kissimmee area. The region also supports a strong local community of regulars who attend weekly and monthly events at established venues.
Florida's climate supports a year-round event calendar. Pool parties, resort weekends, and outdoor socials are viable in every month, which makes the state a lifestyle destination even for members based elsewhere. The overlap with the travel industry — cruises departing from Florida ports, resort destinations in the Caribbean within a short flight — adds another layer.
JoinTheSwing launches in Florida first, with September 1, 2026 as the public registration date. The platform's city guides for Miami, Tampa, and Orlando cover the geography, venues, and what to expect in each market. Hosted events on the platform use verified guest lists so every attendee has passed an identity check before venue details are released.
