Is swinging something single women do?
Yes — single women are an established part of the lifestyle, not a novelty, and there is no single reason that qualifies. Whatever brought you here, it belongs among the rest:
01
A one-time thing
Curious about a single evening with a couple, with no expectation it becomes anything more. That's a complete, valid outcome on its own.
02
An ongoing connection
Some single women want a recurring, low-key arrangement with the same couple over time — friends with benefits, on your terms and pace.
03
Dating a couple
Others are looking for something closer to dating — getting to know both partners as people first, physical or not, before deciding what it becomes.
04
Events, not pairing off
Plenty of single women attend lifestyle events purely to be part of the community — no expectation of connecting with anyone specific.
05
Meeting other women
Some single women are primarily interested in meeting other single women, not couples at all. That's a full, first-class reason to be here.
06
Just learning
And some are here to read, ask questions, and decide what they want later. Verifying and browsing doesn't commit you to anything.
None of these need justifying to anyone — including yourself. On JoinTheSwing, a single woman verifies and manages her own account rather than joining as an add-on to someone else's.
Know there are really two people there
Both partners verify. Separately. Every time.
A couple account on JoinTheSwing isn't approved until both people have each completed their own government-ID and biometric face check — there is no path to a couple profile backed by only one verified person. That closes off the most common bad-actor pattern on unverified sites: a single man posing as half of a couple to reach single-woman-friendly spaces he wouldn't otherwise have access to.
Verification is zero-retention: the ID and selfie go straight to Veriff, our verification provider, and JoinTheSwing only ever receives a pass or fail result — never the images themselves. It confirms two real, distinct adults exist behind the profile. It doesn't confirm what they've agreed between themselves — that part is still worth asking about directly.
Not a workaround.
Single membership is its own account type on JoinTheSwing — your own verification, your own profile, your own settings.
No path around it.
A couple profile is not approved until both partners have individually passed review.
Zero-retention by design.
JoinTheSwing never receives or stores the ID or selfie images — only the pass/fail result.
Your inbox isn't public
Do I have to reply to every introduction I receive?
No. Every introduction on JoinTheSwing starts as a request, not an open conversation — here is exactly how it works:
Nobody can message you directly until you've accepted a request — which means your inbox only ever contains people you've actively chosen to hear from. There is no reputational cost on your account for declining or leaving a request unanswered.
Identity under your control
What privacy controls do single women get on JoinTheSwing?
The same privacy architecture every member gets, held entirely under your own account:
Private albums, revocable access.
Share photos selectively, per member, and pull that access back at any time — access isn't permanent once granted.
Approximate location.
Your profile shows an approximate area, not an exact address, so nobody can pinpoint where you live or work from it.
No public member directory.
There is no public browsable list of members, and profiles are never indexed by search engines.
Zero-retention verification.
Your ID and selfie go to Veriff, our verification provider. JoinTheSwing only ever receives a pass/fail result — never the images themselves.
Because single membership is its own account, every one of these settings is yours alone to configure — nobody else's decisions affect what you show or who can reach you.
Vet the couple
Verification confirms identity. It doesn't confirm consent.
Both-partner verification tells you two real adults are behind a couple's profile. It can't tell you whether both of them actually want to be there — that's a conversation, not a checkbox. Watch for both partners speaking in their own voice, ask direct questions, and take your time before agreeing to meet.
Before you say yes
A short checklist before your first conversation.
- Decide what you actually want first — a one-time evening, an ongoing connection, meeting other women, or just learning — before you message anyone.
- Verify your own identity through the same government-ID and biometric check every member completes.
- Read a couple's profile and let both partners answer for themselves before agreeing to anything.
- Set your own limits in writing, even just to yourself, and revisit them as you learn more.
- Start with a low-pressure meet-and-greet rather than a high-stakes first event.
This is for you if…
You want to explore the lifestyle — with couples, with other women, or just by reading — on a platform where identity is checked before contact opens and you decide who reaches you.
This isn't for you if…
You're looking for a public, browsable directory of members, or want to skip verification entirely — that's not how JoinTheSwing is built.

Choose your connection
One-time, ongoing, or just curious — the choice stays yours.
There is no single right way to be a single woman in the lifestyle. Verify when you're ready, browse at your own pace, and accept only the introductions you want to. October 1, 2026 is the new-registration target, subject to processor and compliance approval; any founding offer will depend on access opening and the published membership terms.
