Single members use their own account to manage profile visibility, shared media and contact choices. From the current Veriff check the ID images never reach us; we keep the result, the provider reference and your consent receipt; Veriff processes verification data under its own terms. Identity review and approximate location are safeguards, not guarantees of anonymity or safety.
Your government ID and face capture go directly to Veriff, the verification provider. JoinTheSwing retains the decision, the consent receipt, the provider reference and non-biometric review metadata; from the current Veriff check the source images never reach JoinTheSwing. Veriff's processing and retention follow its own notice; JoinTheSwing's source-image non-retention is not a promise that the provider retains nothing.
Review the current profile-visibility and media-sharing controls before posting. Use selective access where offered, and withdraw a grant when you no longer want that access to continue. Revocation controls future authorized access; it cannot recover a copy someone already made outside the platform.
JoinTheSwing keeps member profiles behind sign-in and out of its public sitemap. Approximate location is intended to reduce unnecessary precision, but photos, text and details you choose to share may still identify a place or person. Check those details as well as your settings.
At launch, each adult will use independent credentials and control their personal choices. Consensual relationship representation must not remove a person's ability to withdraw, block or report. New registration remains closed until the coordinated native-app release is approved; existing members can continue using the website.
