Acceptable Use & Content Policy

1. Submission and publication

A signed-in member may submit media. Each upload is marked pending and remains invisible to every other member unless staff approves it. Members cannot approve or publish their own media. Approved media is served from private storage through short-lived signed URLs only when it is designated for public preview. Live streaming and content downloads are not offered.

2. Creator and depicted-person requirements

• Every uploader and every depicted person must be at least 18 years old.
• Every depicted person must give informed consent to appear and to the specific upload or distribution.
• Consent to create content is separate from consent to publish it. Download consent would be separate if downloads were ever introduced.
• The uploader must own the content or have written authority from all rights holders.

At registration, the account holder accepts the Terms and EULA and confirms that they are at least 18, and JoinTheSwing records that acceptance. Account holders may also complete identity verification, in which a third-party identity provider checks a government ID and performs an automated face-match and liveness check. The provider processes those images under its own privacy notice and consent; JoinTheSwing never receives or stores them and retains only a pass/fail result and a receipt.

The consent requirement above is an obligation JoinTheSwing places on the uploading account holder, and the record JoinTheSwing holds for it is that account holder's attestation. A depicted person may report content, or state that they did not consent or have withdrawn consent, using the form in section 6.

3. Absolutely prohibited content and conduct

The following is prohibited even when fictional, simulated, implied, quoted, tagged, or requested:

• Minors or youth themes: any person under 18; child sexual abuse material; age ambiguity; school, teen, baby, young-looking, or other youth-coded sexualization; or attempts to evade age controls.
• Non-consent or incapacity: rape, coercion, blackmail, exploitation, hidden-camera material, stolen or revenge content, intoxication, drugging, unconscious or sleeping people, or anyone unable to give informed consent.
• Commercial sexual activity: prostitution, escorting, paid sexual services, solicitation, trafficking, grooming, recruitment, travel for exploitation, payment handles, coded offers, or arrangements moved to another service.
• Explicit sexual visuals: depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct. Intimate media may be designated for the adult web-only channel and excluded from app-safe previews. Suggestive content may also be rejected whenever it creates card-network, consent, safety, or brand risk.
• Violence and harm: assault, torture, blood, bruising, pain, mutilation, weapons, threats, death, suicide, self-harm, snuff, or necrophilia.
• Drugs and alcohol: any alcohol, illegal drug, controlled substance, intoxication theme, or drug paraphernalia is prohibited. The prohibition applies to visible or inferred use and to imagery, backgrounds, captions, profile text, metadata, audio, and external links. Policy and staff-training pages may name the rule itself but may not promote or depict the prohibited material.
• Animals, family themes, and obscenity: bestiality or non-human sexual content, incest or family-role sexualization, excretory content, or material unlawful as obscene in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Hate and abuse: hateful or extremist material, harassment, stalking, doxxing, threats, discriminatory degradation, or encouragement of abuse.
• Rights violations and deception: copyright or trademark infringement, counterfeit goods, celebrity or public-figure impersonation, deepfakes, non-consensual synthetic media, scams, malware, or materially misleading identity or product claims.
• Illegal or restricted commerce: weapons, controlled substances, stolen goods, unlawful gambling, money laundering, financial crime, or any illegal product or service.

4. Profiles, messages, links, and search terms

Prohibited rules apply to bios, usernames, captions, emojis, comments, private messages, voice notes, hashtags, metadata, external URLs, advertisements, and search terms—not only media files. Profiles may not advertise services, payment arrangements, affiliate offers, personal contact funnels, or coded prohibited activity.

5. Moderation and publication

Submitted media receives a pending moderation status and is not visible to other members. It becomes visible only after staff approval and only when designated for public preview. Members cannot change that approval status themselves.

6. Reporting, removal, and appeal

Anyone may report material without an account through our Complaints & Content Removal form. Reports receive an immediate restricted response and manual review. Confirmed illegal content is removed and reported as required. Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) reports are removed within 48 hours. Ordinary complaints are investigated and resolved within five business days. A depicted person may report content or state that they did not consent or have withdrawn consent. Where required, an unresolved consent dispute may be sent to a neutral body at JoinTheSwing's expense. We explain the outcome to the reporter unless law or safety limits what we can disclose. The complaint process and the actions taken on a complaint are recorded in an audit trail.

7. Enforcement

We may reject or remove content, suspend features, preserve evidence, restrict or terminate an account, permanently ban an offender, prevent re-registration, and report suspected illegal conduct. Severe violations do not require a warning.

8. Advertising and payments

Users and affiliates may not collect card data, use a card transaction as age verification, misrepresent JoinTheSwing or its processor, advertise prohibited content, or obstruct a processor, regulator, or law-enforcement investigation. JoinTheSwing is responsible for the conduct of its approved affiliates and may revoke an affiliate immediately.
