Trafficking Prevention & Safety Policy
JoinTheSwing maintains a zero-tolerance policy against human trafficking, sex trafficking, and any form of coerced, involuntary, or forced activity. This page summarizes the controls we have in place to prevent, detect, and report such activity, and how to reach us. It supplements Section 3 of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Prevention by design — verified, consenting adults only
Every member must complete government-issued photo-ID verification and a selfie reviewed by our team before they can create a public profile, message, or attend an event. Both partners in a couple verify separately. This identity gate is our primary trafficking-prevention control: it makes anonymous, fraudulent, or coerced third-party accounts materially harder to create, and ties every account to a real, age-verified adult who has affirmatively consented to participate.
2. Prohibition
Any use of this platform to facilitate, promote, advertise, or engage in human trafficking, sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or any involuntary or forced activity is strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate, permanent removal of the account and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
3. Detection & human moderation
We operate a human-in-the-loop moderation and trust-and-safety review process. Reports, flagged accounts, and signals of exploitation are escalated to trained reviewers for assessment and action under defined service-level targets.
4. Law-enforcement protocols & NCMEC cooperation
JoinTheSwing has established protocols to engage law enforcement immediately upon detecting or reasonably suspecting trafficking activity. We cooperate fully with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and with relevant federal, state, and local authorities, including preserving and providing lawfully requested information in accordance with applicable law.
5. How to report
If you suspect that any activity on this platform involves human trafficking or exploitation, report it immediately using the in-app Report control on any profile or message, or email our compliance team at compliance@jointheswing.com. Reports are reviewed urgently. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first; in the U.S. you may also contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
