Delete your JoinTheSwing account
You can permanently delete your account from either mobile app or the signed-in website. These instructions remain public so you can find the deletion path even when you are signed out or have removed the app.
Delete in the iOS or Android app
- Sign in to the JoinTheSwing app.
- Open More, then Privacy & Security.
- Under Account deletion, choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm the permanent deletion.
Delete on the website
Sign in, open Account settings, and use the Delete accountcontrol in the Data section. You can go directly to the signed-in control below.
What happens after confirmation
- Your profile is anonymized and hidden.
- Your active mobile push tokens are revoked.
- Your authentication login is removed and your current session ends.
- A private deletion receipt is recorded for accountability.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible after the server confirms it. A relationship owner with another adult's login attached must first transfer ownership or have that login removed so one person cannot delete another person's access.
Records we may retain
We may retain limited transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, consent, safety, moderation, and legal records when required for law, security, accounting, or to protect other people. Retained records are restricted and are not used to recreate your public member profile. See the Privacy Policy for the complete retention terms.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, or use the public contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting so another person cannot delete your account.
