How discreet is membership on a lifestyle platform?
Profiles sit behind the sign-in wall — not publicly indexed, cached, or findable by anyone who is not signed in — and photos stay behind consent-gated access. The platform installs as a discreet PWA, so nothing appears in App Store purchase history. Veriff handles verification; we store only the pass/fail result, never the ID or selfie images.
Discretion in the lifestyle community has two distinct meanings: privacy from the general public, and privacy within the community itself. Both matter and they require different design decisions from the platform.
Privacy from the public means that your profile and photos are kept out of search engines and are not visible to anyone who is not signed in. JoinTheSwing keeps member profiles behind the sign-in wall and does not let search engines index them.
Privacy within the community means that your profile information is shared only on your terms. You control who can see your photos via private album permissions, who can initiate contact via the Messages consent layer, and who knows your travel plans via the Itinerary feature.
From a device standpoint, JoinTheSwing installs as a Progressive Web App (PWA) directly from the browser. There is no entry in your App Store or Google Play purchase history, no app icon with a recognisable name unless you choose one, and no notifications unless you enable them. The app experience is indistinguishable from any other home screen shortcut.
For verification, the provider handles the government ID and selfie under its privacy and retention terms. JoinTheSwing retains the result, receipt, provider reference, and review metadata needed for safety and audit purposes, not copies of the underlying source images in application storage.
