The lifestyle in Antioch · the San Francisco Bay Area · Contra Costa County
The lifestyle scene in Antioch, California.
Antioch sits at the far eastern edge of Contra Costa County, where the Delta meets the inland valleys — a city that grew fast in the 2000s housing boom and is now one of the more affordable entry points into the Bay Area, with a working-class, multiracial population that's more rooted in the Central Valley orbit than the tech-money Bay.

What the scene looks like here
No on-premise club operates in Antioch or the eastern Contra Costa corridor. The practical anchors for couples here are KnowMyTruth, a Livermore-based swing house-party group, roughly 25 miles south on I-680, and the Bonobo Network in Oakland, about the same distance west. KnowMyTruth is based in the I-580 and Tri-Valley corridor and is the more geographically natural fit. Check each group's own page for dates and entry rules before you make the drive.

JoinTheSwing plans ID verification so members can decide who reaches them: at launch, every member will pass ID verification before messaging, and a conversation will open only if you accept an introduction request. Venues and event groups near Antioch run their own calendars, so check each one's own page for dates and entry rules. New-member registration opens in 2026, once our safety and compliance checks are complete; get on the email list for the release notice.
