The lifestyle scene in Alafaya, Florida.
Alafaya is the sprawling East Orlando suburb wrapped around UCF — one of the largest universities in the country — so it's young, transient, and tech-and-student-heavy, all apartment complexes, research parks, and the constant churn of a college town. Underneath the students sits a layer of grad students, faculty, and young tech professionals who stay year-round.

What the scene looks like here
Alafaya has no venue of its own; the closest resort-scale option is Secrets Hideaway in Kissimmee — a clothing-optional lifestyle resort and nightclub that hosts themed takeover weekends, with brands like iCandy running pool parties. It's about 30 minutes south. For a young, venue-less suburb, treat Kissimmee as a weekend destination and check the resort's own calendar first.
