What is Feeld?

Feeld describes itself as a dating app for the curious, open to couples and to single members aged 18 and over. Couples can link Paired profiles, members add desires and identities, and a free account can be upgraded to the paid Majestic tier. Feeld's own pages describe optional photo checks, a 24/7 safety team and screenshot protection that has limits.

Feeld is a dating app, and the most accurate short description of it is the company's own: its FAQ calls it “a dating app for the curious”, for people “open to experiencing people and relationships in new ways”. It says it is for couples as much as it is for single people, and that everyone who joins must be at least 18. It is downloadable wherever the App Store and Google Play are available, and an email address is enough to create an account (feeld.co).

Its structure is built around saying what you are looking for rather than implying a single script. The FAQ lists more than twenty sexuality and gender identities to choose from, Paired profiles that link a couple's two accounts, Group Chats, and Desires and Interests as the fields members fill in. Who you are looking for is private by default: Feeld says only you can see the genders or sexualities you search for (feeld.co).

On safety, Feeld is specific about some things and general about others. Photo verification is optional and, in its words, “uses facial recognition to confirm that the photos on a profile actually belong to that user”; using someone else's photo is prohibited. It says a Safety Team is available worldwide 24/7 and responds to reports, and that suspicious accounts are detected “through both automated systems and human review” — with the caveat “no platform is flawless”. Its Trust & Safety page documents screenshot protection that blocks screenshots of images in chats but not videos, does not notify the person being screenshotted, and on Android also blocks message text while on iOS it does not. Photo timers, view-once videos, Incognito (a Majestic feature), automatic blurring of unsolicited nude images and faceless profiles are documented there too (feeld.co).

Membership is free to download with a paid upgrade. The FAQ names that tier Majestic and lists what it adds: seeing who likes you, one free Ping a day, unlimited likes, Incognito mode and private photos. It publishes no prices on that page, so any figure you read elsewhere should be checked in the app. Accounts also have a lifecycle: Feeld says an account that has not logged in for 90 days becomes inactive as a pause, is terminated after 365 days, and its data is permanently deleted 90 days after that, in line with GDPR. Members can hide their profile from Discover at any time (feeld.co).

Read every one of those claims as what the company says about itself, because that is all any app's own pages can establish. A photo check confirms a likeness; it does not vouch for anyone's conduct, and Feeld's safety page says plainly that bad actors can appear on any platform. If you are weighing the app up, the practical questions are the ones the answer on whether Feeld is legit works through. JoinTheSwing is not affiliated with or endorsed by Feeld; “Feeld” and “Majestic” are Feeld's trademarks. JoinTheSwing's approved launch design gives each adult independent credentials and Veriff identity review before eligible discovery or contact; new registration will be available on the website and in the native apps after coordinated release approval, and digital membership purchases will use the native apps, and existing members keep web access. JoinTheSwing is opening in 2026, with no fixed date; it does not host or organize events.

How this answer was checked.

Publisher-authored explainer about what one app says about itself. Every Feeld claim here is a statement Feeld publishes on its own site — its FAQ and its Trust & Safety page — read on 2026-09-29, and each is attributed rather than asserted as fact about the product. We do not rank apps against each other, and we publish no usage numbers because Feeld's pages carry no user figures we could verify. The closing note about what a verification check can and cannot establish is general guidance that applies to any platform, including ours.

  • Feeld's own description of itself as “a dating app for the curious”, its statement that it is for couples as much as for single people, the 18-and-over requirement, 20+ sexuality and gender identities, Paired profiles for couples, Group Chats, Desires and Interests, the private search setting, the Majestic tier and the perks it lists, the 90-day inactivity pause, the 365-day termination and the 90-day post-termination deletion, and the statement that verification data is not stored. Read 2026-09-29; prices are not published on the page.

  • Feeld's description of optional photo verification using facial recognition to confirm that a profile's photos belong to that user, the prohibition on using someone else's photo, the worldwide 24/7 Safety Team, automated and human detection, reporting routes, screenshot protection and its stated limits (images in chats blocked, videos not; no notification; Android also blocks message text, iOS does not), photo timers and view-once videos, Incognito, automatic blurring of unsolicited nude images, faceless profiles, and its own “no platform is flawless” caveat.
