What is wife sharing?

Wife sharing describes a consensual arrangement where a married couple agrees that the wife will be intimate with other people, with the husband's knowledge and encouragement. In practice it overlaps almost entirely with the hotwife dynamic and with couple-anchored swinging — different communities use slightly different words for closely related ideas.
