How does JoinTheSwing handle and protect my verification result?

JoinTheSwing uses a third-party provider to perform identity verification with an ID check and a liveness check. From the current Veriff check the images submitted for that process never reach JoinTheSwing; we keep the result, the provider reference and your consent receipt. The provider handles the verification workflow, while the result supports the site’s members-only access process rather than creating a public identity profile.

A successful verification result means the third-party check passed at the time it was completed. It is not a guarantee of character, intentions, compatibility, or future conduct. Verification can reduce some uncertainty about identity, but it cannot predict how anyone will behave, confirm that two people share the same expectations, or remove the need for clear boundaries and consent.

Verification and privacy are separate protections. The members-only gate keeps the core community behind registration, but membership does not make every interaction private. From the current Veriff check the ID or liveness images never reach JoinTheSwing, and we keep the result, the provider reference and your consent receipt; members should still avoid sharing sensitive personal details before trust is established. Discretion remains a shared responsibility inside and outside the site.

Verification is one trust layer, not a promise that every member, event, club, or destination is risk-free. JoinTheSwing provides listings and travel information; it does not own or operate listed venues, and listing should not be read as a guarantee of their practices. Venue rules, entry requirements, privacy expectations, and local laws vary, so confirm current details directly and use independent judgment.
