What information does JoinTheSwing keep for launch-list members?
The launch list keeps what the form asks for: your email address, your city, region and country, the member type and interests you select, any beta-testing choices, an optional note about what you searched for, your consent choices, and how you reached the page. It does not collect your name, create a member profile, or involve identity verification.
When you join the free launch list, JoinTheSwing keeps the details you enter on the signup form: your email address; your city, region and country; the member type and interests you select; any beta-testing preferences (which products and, for the mobile app, which platform); an optional note about what you searched for; and your consent choices for launch notices and the newsletter. It also records how you reached the page, such as the referring page or campaign link. The form does not ask for your name, and signing up does not create a member profile or complete identity verification.
The launch list is for people who want updates while new registration is closed. It does not create a member account or provide access to members-only areas. If someone later chooses to register, the registration process may request additional information needed for membership and third-party identity verification.
Identity verification is handled by a third-party provider using an ID and a liveness check. JoinTheSwing does not retain the source images from that check. Any other member-profile information should be shared only through the registration process after it opens, and only what the process requests should be provided.
Joining the list does not imply that any club, destination, event, or attendee has been vetted by JoinTheSwing. Venue rules, local requirements, and event policies can vary, so review them directly before attending. To change your details or stop the emails, use the unsubscribe or email-preference link in any launch-list email, which opens a private preferences page for the address you joined with.
