What is the difference between JoinTheSwing and SDC?
Compare each platform's current verification, privacy, event and billing terms. JoinTheSwing's approved launch design uses native apps for new registration and digital membership purchases, with complete web access for existing members. Registration remains closed pending coordinated release approval; JoinTheSwing does not host or organize events.
SDC (SwingersDateClub) is a long-running lifestyle directory where members create profiles, search, and communicate. The official materials reviewed for JoinTheSwing's comparison do not document mandatory government-ID verification for every member. That is different from proving that no identity controls exist or making a categorical claim about how common fake profiles are.
JoinTheSwing's approved launch design uses native apps for new registration and digital membership purchases. Existing members retain the complete web experience. At launch, each adult will have independent credentials and provider-backed identity review, and relationship representation will require consent. JoinTheSwing is opening in 2026, with no fixed date, and registration remains closed until required testing, store review and coordinated release approval are complete.
On privacy, check each platform's current member-visibility controls and privacy notice directly. Public marketing pages alone do not establish whether a member profile is publicly accessible. JoinTheSwing keeps member profiles behind sign-in and out of its public sitemap; that does not guarantee anonymity from other authorized members or people with access to a shared device.
On events: SDC lists events as pages on its public site. JoinTheSwing does not host or organize events. No JoinTheSwing event is scheduled.
