It is an adults-only resort with topless-optional areas. It does not offer the designated playrooms found at some swingers resorts. Read its conduct rules before treating the two kinds of trip as interchangeable.
Topless-optional, not clothing-optional
Tops are optional in designated pool zones. This is different from an au naturel resort: check which areas allow what before packing. If you want a fully clothing-optional stay, compare the rules at Desire or Hedonism II. Your choice of swimwear says nothing about whether you want to meet someone.

Consider Temptation for an adults-only trip with pools and nightlife, including travel as a couple or friend group. What first-timers should know
Confirm the minimum check-in age, entry terms and calendar before booking. Theme-night clothing is worth checking if you plan to attend. The Cancun location also gives you options for excursions and nights outside the resort. Check transport and return arrangements rather than assuming a short ride at any hour.
When to go
The guide records December through April as Cancun’s drier season. Summer is hotter and wetter, and Caribbean hurricane season runs from June through November. Check the forecast and booking terms for your dates. Read any theme or visiting-DJ listings on the operator’s site; this guide does not publish a current event schedule.
