Polyamory centers on building multiple genuine romantic relationships, each with emotional depth, mutual investment, and the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. The Lifestyle is often more couple-anchored and event-oriented, though real relationships do not always fit a single category.
The communities overlap: some polyamorous people attend Lifestyle events, and some Lifestyle connections become emotionally significant. Platform fit depends on the people, controls, and community norms a user needs, so no single service is automatically best for either structure.
