Photo exposure exists on a spectrum: some services publish profile previews, while others require sign-in or a specific album grant. JoinTheSwing is designed to keep member profiles out of its public routes and sitemap and to apply audience controls inside the member experience. Private albums use per-viewer permission. Those controls reduce public exposure but cannot guarantee that search engines, authorized viewers, browsers, devices, or third-party services will never retain a copy.

Data privacy extends beyond photos. Review the current privacy notice for how profile data, messages, event or travel records, analytics, service providers, legal requests, retention, and deletion are handled. A short product description is not a substitute for those terms.

Veriff processes the source ID and selfie images under its privacy and retention terms. JoinTheSwing does not store those source images in application storage; it retains the verification decision, consent receipt, provider reference, and limited non-biometric review metadata. That retained account and audit data still requires access controls, retention rules, and breach protection.

Members can use available visibility, album, discovery, and notification controls, but no setting makes participation undiscoverable in every circumstance. Share the minimum needed, review audiences before publishing, revoke access when appropriate, and report unauthorized distribution.
