Events on JoinTheSwing — originally called Invitations — are not run by JoinTheSwing. JoinTheSwing does not host or organize events, and no event is scheduled. Confirm any event's format, dress code and RSVP rules with its real organizer.
Two risks recur in lifestyle event listings: public venue addresses that expose attendees and open RSVPs that let anyone show up. Both are worth checking before you attend anything, whoever organizes it. JoinTheSwing does not host events and does not publish an event calendar.
Well-run events, organized by independent hosts and venues, usually state the format, dress code, capacity and RSVP requirements up front and share the venue address only after a host reviews the request. Ask the real organizer how their RSVP and guest-list process works.
A venue's own policy on checking physical ID always applies, whatever tool a host uses.
