What does Host (JTS Operator) mean?
A Host on JoinTheSwing is a verified individual or organization that operates events, manages Circles, or runs a House on the platform — with a dedicated dashboard for event tooling, guest-list management, and Stripe Connect payouts.
Host status on JoinTheSwing is the platform's designation for event operators and community managers. Individual hosts might be couples who run a monthly house party; organizational hosts might be established club promoters with hundreds of attendees per event. Both receive access to the Host Dashboard — the operator console for the platform.
Hosts are verified like any other member, plus an additional organization-level review. The host verification badge (✓ Host verified) appears on event cards, Circle headers, and House pages. This badge signals that the operator has passed identity verification and organization review — a trust signal that legacy event platforms and phone-tree promoters cannot provide.
The platform's growth strategy depends on hosts: by giving established promoters free, modern event tooling (with Stripe Connect so they keep their revenue), JTS captures their existing attendee networks as verified platform members at the point of ticket purchase. Every host's attendees become verified JTS members; every verified member becomes a potential attendee at other hosts' events.
