Circles was the original name for Groups on JoinTheSwing. A Group is a planned gated member space with host-managed membership and governance settings. Privacy will depend on those settings and on member conduct; a Group should not be described as risk-free.
Built controls can support open or reviewed membership, verification or vouch criteria, and private discussion. Availability and access will depend on the settings chosen for each Group.
Examples such as a city or shared-interest Group describe possible uses, not an existing member population, organizer affiliation, or signed partner relationship. JoinTheSwing does not claim a Down2Party private room or any other named host relationship without documented approval.
