What does Vouch mean?
A vouch is a member-authored endorsement that can add social context to a JoinTheSwing profile. It is subjective and does not prove identity, an in-person meeting, consent, or future conduct.
Community reputation has long traveled through introductions and host networks. JoinTheSwing's vouch feature records a member's endorsement on platform so other eligible members can consider that context.
A vouch is not independently verified evidence that two people met, cannot be treated as impossible to fake, and does not guarantee respectful behavior. Readers should consider the author, wording, timing, and their own screening rather than relying on a count alone.
Built controls can use vouch counts for Groups, Messages, and future event criteria. No current hosted event is claimed, and every organizer remains responsible for independent guest review and safety procedures.
