What does Invitation (JTS Event) mean?
An Invitation on JoinTheSwing is a hosted event — club night, house party, resort weekend — with RSVP management, guest-list visibility, verification gating, and QR check-in built in.
The Invitation is JoinTheSwing's event infrastructure. Every event on the platform — from a small house party to a resort takeover — is structured as an Invitation with a host, a venue, a capacity, and a set of attendance requirements. Hosts can require verification tier, minimum vouch count, or Circle membership before any RSVP is accepted.
For promoters, the Invitation system replaces the patchwork of WhatsApp threads, Venmo payments, and handwritten guest lists that most Lifestyle event hosts are currently using. Guest-list visibility (the host sees every RSVP's verification status and vouch history before they arrive), Stripe Connect payouts, ratio control, and QR check-in are all native to the system.
For members, receiving an Invitation from a verified host is its own signal: the host has built a platform presence, passed organization-level review, and is running an event within the community's trust architecture. The Invitation is not just an event listing — it is a statement of legitimacy.
