What is the fastest way to get started on JoinTheSwing?

Before the official September 1, 2026 launch, the fastest first step is the email-only list at /join. It does not create an account, charge a card, or start a subscription. It simply ensures you receive the launch notice and registration instructions before the doors open.

After launch, create your account and complete the provider ID and selfie check for every person represented on the profile. JoinTheSwing stores the verification result and receipt rather than source images; the verification provider handles its source data under its published privacy and retention terms. Access is granted only after review.

Step two: complete your profile fully before you start reaching out to anyone. Add photos (at least a clear face photo visible to verified members you approve, and a photo of both of you together), write a genuine bio, and set your preferences accurately. A complete profile gets responses; an empty one almost never does.

Step three: join one or two Groups relevant to your city and your interests. This puts you in the social context of other members before you make any individual connections, and often leads to organic conversations without requiring cold outreach.

Step four: RSVP to a social event.
