What happens if my ID verification fails on JoinTheSwing?
You will not be able to access the members-only gated site until ID verification is completed successfully. A failed check does not automatically mean wrongdoing; it may simply mean the ID or liveness check could not be confirmed.
When ID verification fails, JoinTheSwing does not grant access to the members-only gated site. The failed result means the automated check did not successfully confirm your identity at that time. It is not, by itself, a finding of dishonesty or a permanent ban. You simply remain outside the gated area.
Verification uses an ID check and a liveness check handled by a third-party provider. JoinTheSwing does not retain the source images used for that process. A mismatch between the information entered and the ID, an unreadable image, or a liveness result that cannot be confirmed can prevent a successful outcome.
If another attempt is available, follow the on-screen instructions carefully. Use a current, readable ID and enter your information exactly as it appears there. For the liveness check, make sure your face is clearly visible, the lighting is even, and the camera is working properly. There is no guarantee that another attempt will succeed.
A failed verification should not be treated as approval to use someone else's ID, alter an image, or create another profile with different details. Keep the information in your profile consistent and truthful. Until verification is successful, the public guides and answers library may remain available, but the gated member area will not.
