What does Off-Premises mean?
An off-premises event is social only — a bar takeover, meet-and-greet, or club night with no play on site. People connect there and go elsewhere, or simply enjoy the evening.
Off-premises events are where much of the community actually meets. A bar takeover, a restaurant meet-and-greet, or a hotel lobby social lets people talk without the pressure of a play space in the next room. Nothing happens on site, and that is the point.
For couples exploring, off-premises is usually the gentler first step. You can spend an evening in conversation, decide the scene is or is not for you, and leave with nothing else expected. Experienced couples use them the same way — as a filter before inviting anyone anywhere.
The distinction is practical rather than moral. Many venues run both formats on different nights, so read the specific event, not just the venue name.
